Set the thermostat to a comfortable temperature. Heat Pumps measure temperature differently - so choose what feels comfortable regardless of the actual reading. Usually, a setting around 20 deegres proves most efficient for your energy management.
Expect changes in temperature over several hours to a day. The heat pump is slow. Cranking up the temperature setting will not make it heat faster, but it will overwork the heat pump.
When heating your home, insulation is your best friend. The more insulated the house, the less energy (and heat) you will waste. Keep the doors and windows closed and insulate the house to save energy and keep the temperature stable.
A heat pump operates best at a constant temperature. Try to avoid temperature setting changes, even if you leave the house,(If you leave for more than 24h you can turn down the temperature).
Prioritize your heat pump. Avoid using any auxiliary heating methods, as these can overwork your heat pump and add up to big energy costs.
